For decades, 347 Reynard Street was Emil and Houda El-Khoury's corner milk bar, where they raised six children in the two-bedroom house out the back. The next generation has turned that milk bar, their childhood home, into an all-day cafe, keeping the heritage and giving brunch a Lebanese accent. Scrambled eggs arrive with housemade crispy sujuk chilli oil on a simit; the chicken fatteh sits on garlic yoghurt with braised almonds and chickpeas. There's a courtyard out the back.
