Ruth Allen

Ruth Allen has spent 35 years working in hot glass — sculpture, installation, performance, fabrication. Her studio, r.a.g.e, on Hossack Avenue in Coburg North, is now the nucleus of the Glass Epicentre: Victoria's first purpose-built independent community glassmaking facility. It's a working studio with serious intent — keeping an ancient, equipment-heavy craft alive outside institutional walls.
