Tuerong Farm
Mornington Peninsula, VIC
Tuerong Farm grows, stone-mills and bakes its own grain on Tuerong Road on the Mornington Peninsula — heritage, ancient and modern wheats including the purple Asmara line and an unsegregated field of blue, purple, brown, white and red wheats sown together. Their Sea Otter barley feeds beers brewed at Devil Bend Farm Beer, Bendigo Brewing and Hickinbotham of Dromana, sold at the bakery alongside the bread. The 8ha vineyard his parents planted in 1998 is now leased to Yabby Lake next door, who make the Barrymore label wine sold here too. Rye and sourdough workshops with visiting international bakers run through the year. Farm gate Thursday to Sunday, 8am to noon.
