Lakeside Villas at Crittenden
Mornington Peninsula, VIC
Crittenden Estate has been making wine in Dromana since 1982 — Garry Crittenden was one of the first to plant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the Mornington Peninsula, and the vineyard is now run by his son Rollo, with Rollo's wife Linda managing the four villas that look across the lake to the vines. The villas are self-contained, north-facing, with a deck and a fireplace. Cellar door and restaurant on site. Won best self-contained accommodation in Victoria at the 2019 RACV Tourism Awards. Two-night stays earn their place; one night isn't enough to use the grounds.
