Kriket Broadhurst came to silversmithing in Wales in 2006, drawn to the sea glass washing up on Anglesey's shores, and now works from a studio and gallery on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland. She sets ocean-tumbled glass collected from the UK, Japan and Iceland into sterling silver and gold, often with lapis, peridot or pearls, letting each frosted fragment's shape decide the piece. Broadhurst sells online and from the gallery, and teaches jewellery-making there.
