Three friends turned a recurring bar tab into a working distillery on Tamborine Mountain, 525 metres above sea level. The range covers gin, vermouth, agave spirits (including a chilli-and-saltbush Blanco), and an inaugural Queensland single malt — ex-bourbon barrels finished in Australian Apera — that took nearly three years to reach bottle. Live music and a kitchen round out the week.
