The Chocolate Apple Factory builds its shop around one thing: a locally grown Pink Lady apple, hand-dipped in caramel, coated in chocolate and finished plain or decorated, down to bride-and-groom sets for a wedding table. The family that runs it works them in small and large sizes on the Goulburn Valley Highway south of Shepparton, with rocky road, chocolate-coated jellies, freeze-dried lollies and a shelf of regional jams and relishes alongside.
