Jack Stuart (ex-Gauge, ex-Congress Wine in Brisbane) runs the kitchen at Blume in Boonah, an intimate room named for Blumbergville, the town's original name under its 1870s German settlers. Set menu, changing with the season, built around what's coming out of Aunt Jen's garden next door — nasturtiums, elderflower, marjoram, bay leaves, lemon verbena, mizuna, picked fresh for each service. Friday and Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday lunch, Thursday evenings on a bar menu only. The destination kitchen for the Scenic Rim.
