A community-run Tuesday morning farmers market at Tom Kendall Oval on the New Brighton riverside, operating since 2007 under the North Byron Farmers Market Association (a not-for-profit governed by a committee of four farmers and four consumer members). Around 30 producers each week — Woodland Valley pasta, JJ's seafood, Brunswick Valley oysters, sourdough, milk, cheese, tempeh, macadamias, olives. Kids art programme, live music, the Grow Your Own Lunchbox schools challenge. The 7am opening is a recent change after community feedback.
