The 1866 building was Adelaide's first fire station. Now three suites — the Fire Engine Suite has a 1942 International fire engine at the foot of the bed and a working fireman's pole; the Loggia Suite has a Tuscan courtyard; the Residency Penthouse takes the entire second floor. Restored over 37 years by antiques dealers Rodney and Regina Twiss (now joined by son William), who own and host fifteen heritage properties across North Adelaide.
