A c.1830 sandstone barn on the Midland Highway at Bagdad, 35 minutes north of Hobart, originally built as a grain store for George Armytage's 4,000-acre Milford estate. Two bedrooms (one ground level, one mezzanine loft over the kitchen), original sandstone and brick walls preserved, Tasmanian timber and leather furnishings, walk-in shower and double spa. A wood-fired pizza oven and barbecue area in the garden, fruit and nut trees, and breakfast provisions of free-range eggs and homemade jams included.
