A Calabrian family brought their winemaking lineage to Coonawarra in 1958; their first Shiraz, fermented in an old milk tanker in 1982, went on to feature at Expovin 84. Four decades on, they still hand-prune every vine and bottle only Cabernet and Shiraz — two varieties, no trend-chasing — ageing both in French and American oak until ready.
