Penley is a Coonawarra cabernet house grown from two South Australian wine dynasties — Penfolds and Tolley — and now run by sisters Ang and Bec Tolley. Their winemaker Kate Goodman, named 2024 Halliday Winemaker of the Year, steers the terra rossa fruit toward contemporary form. The Phoenix Cabernet starts at $25; the Chertsey blend climbs to $75.
