URKU works single-origin Ecuadorian cacao, traded directly with named grower collectives, into dark chocolate sold from a showroom on Greville Street in Prahran. The range is built around specific origins and partners, Herencia Esmeraldas, Lua and Kallari, with fine-aroma varietals and a plant-based, vegan focus. Founder Sebastián Alarcón Pinto frames each bar around the cacao's provenance, and the Prahran space runs sensory tasting sessions alongside the retail shelf.
