Chris "Brolga" Barns built this 188-acre sanctuary outside Alice Springs after a BBC documentary crew found him already living in the bush with a mob of rescued kangaroos. The resulting series, *Kangaroo Dundee*, aired across three seasons. Orphans too tame or injured for release live here permanently; others are rehabilitated and returned to the wild. Guided sunset tours are the public's way in.
