A one-bedroom barn in West Hobart, originally built in the 1830s, converted by Tasmanian architects in an adaptive-reuse project that won the Australian Institute of Architects' National Award for Small Project Architecture in 2010 — also the Roy Sharington Smith Award for Heritage Architecture and a swag of others. Every piece of original timber and stone was retained and reused. Underfloor heating, custom dining table built from leftover renovation timber, small private courtyard.
