Rathmore

A Georgian sandstone homestead built in 1828 on an almost-100-acre sheep property in the Central Highlands, an hour north of Hobart. Owned for 150 years by one family, then bought in 2015 by Cally and Richard Lyons, who've kept it as a working farm. Three accommodation tiers — four heritage rooms in the main house, ensuited shearers' quarters, and a rustic cottage. Platypus in Dew Rivulet on the property; meals cooked by the owners. Bothwell is fifteen minutes away.
