Kermandie Hotel

A 1932 art deco country hotel on the Huon River at Port Huon, when the wharf below was the export terminus for the Huon Valley apple trade. The bar has been fully restored. Heritage rooms in the main building, motel-style Lodge rooms next door, and a four-bedroom cottage on the property. Esperance is the restaurant, with wallaby and hare on the menu in season. The marina is the hotel's own, and Radar Charter Ferry leaves from it.
