Parnella Kettering

A self-contained one-bedroom cottage and a two-bedroom apartment on a property in Kettering, twenty-five minutes south of Hobart and five minutes from the Bruny Island ferry. The garden is the editorial anchor — pademelons and potoroos at dusk, occasional Tasmanian devil, rescue pony, more than thirty bird species including the endangered Swift Parrot. Wood fire in the larger unit. Run by Sue and Jon, who also operate similar cottages on Bruny Island and a third opening on the Channel.
