The Bellarine Historical Society occupies Drysdale's Old Courthouse, an 1888 shire hall behind four Doric columns. Volunteers have run it as a community museum since 1976, filling the main hall with semi-permanent exhibitions and monthly talks on local history. The former magistrates' room holds church records, school registers and family-history material, with old farming machinery displayed around the building. Open Sunday mornings.
