Newcastle ArtSpace

Since 1983, Newcastle Art Space has given Hunter Region artists somewhere to actually work — more than 20 studios alongside exhibition spaces and a mentorship program that moves artists from emerging to established. In 2025 it marks 40 years. The Islington address is less gallery-as-spectacle than working infrastructure: the kind of place that produces art rather than just displaying it.
