Lisa Wise makes porcelain tableware and sculptural objects from a studio by the sea in Tasmania, casting and hand-building small limited-edition collections. Working in clay since 2001, with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in ceramics and sculpture, she runs the whole process herself, from mould making and casting through hand building, glazing, firing and decorating. Find her most Saturdays at Salamanca Market in Hobart, Site 200, and stocked nearby at Off Centre Gallery in the Salamanca Arts Centre.
