Brian Martin spent 15 years making sparkling wine at Kilchurn before buying a rundown Pipers Creek vineyard in 2015. The old farmhouse doubles as cellar door; the 12 acres outside grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Merlot on volcanic soils at 550 metres. More often than not, Martin is the one pouring.
