Victoria's largest regional zoo sits on 52 acres at the foot of the Grampians, seven kilometres out of Halls Gap with the ranges as a backdrop. More than 120 species share the grounds, native and exotic: cheetahs, giraffes, rhinos and red pandas alongside kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and Tasmanian devils. Several sit within endangered-species breeding programs run through the Zoo Aquarium Association. Keepers run hand-feeding and close-encounter sessions through the day. The Treweek family has owned and run it since 2023.
