Since 1980, Gail's has been supplying quilters from a shopfront on Yarrowee Street in Sebastopol. The stock runs deep: Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink, Yuwa, Hoffman batiks, Sevenberry Japanese cotton, plus hundreds of books, patterns, and trims. Gail herself fields calls for hard-to-find fabric. The kind of specialist retailer that the internet hasn't managed to replace.
