Brambuk – The National Park and Cultural Centre

Grampians, VIC

Brambuk is an Aboriginal cultural centre at the gateway to the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park in Halls Gap, established in 1989 to share the cultures of the Jadawadjali and Djab Wurrung peoples. The striking building, with a roof inspired by cockatoo wings and the mountain ranges, houses exhibitions on Koori culture and provides access to the region's 60-plus rock art sites containing over 4,000 motifs spanning 30,000 years of continuous Aboriginal connection.
