Nicole Redenbach makes ceramic jewellery and objects from a home studio on Sydney's Northern Beaches, trained in both ceramics and metals. She works mid-fire porcelain and inky black clays, pressing shells and foliage into the surface and carving line work through sgraffito, then finishing earrings and pendants with sterling silver and gold-filled wire. Alongside the jewellery are porcelain bowls, vases and wall pieces. The colours and textures follow the local coastline and bushland, made in small batches or one-offs.
