Beau Wylie paints eccentric misfit characters and unexplained happenings in oils, acrylics, pencils and collage from his Newcastle studio, sketching intuitively to draw like a child again. The world he builds draws on a childhood in the New South Wales bush and on earlier lives fixing boats on Sydney Harbour. He also writes and illustrates children's books, and sells originals alongside prints, cards and tea towels at art and design events across Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Newcastle.
