Wreck Beach Walk

VIC

A dramatic coastal walk descending wooden steps to a wild beach strewn with the anchor and remnants of historic shipwrecks along the Great Ocean Road. The 300-step descent reveals towering cliffs and rock stacks carved by centuries of Southern Ocean waves. At low tide you can explore rock pools teeming with marine life. The Shipwreck Coast earned its name from the many vessels lost to these treacherous waters.

Great Ocean Road
One of the world's great coastal drives is also one of its best independent-venue corridors. Breweries in former surf clubs, cafes in converted dairies, and stays with views that earn the premium.
