Since 1964, Woolloongabba Demolitions has been pulling apart Brisbane houses — mostly by hand — and selling what's left. At their Rocklea yard you'll find de-nailed reclaimed timbers, colonial-era doors and windows, fireplaces, wrought iron, and loose collectables ranging from a 1950s Packard hood ornament to vintage Golden Circle signage. Woodworkers come for the straight grain; Queenslander restorers come for everything else.
