Mat Wilton pulls weathered hardwood — nails still embedded — from renovation sites around Helensvale, strips it back, and turns it into furniture. The offcuts become firewood; nothing goes to landfill. Each piece is singular by necessity, shaped by whatever the reclaimed timber allows. A small operation run on a clear logic: the wood already has a life, give it another one.
