A kiosk and car park in the 1950s, a proper restaurant by 1982. Windy Point has spent four decades feeding two million people on the strength of its Adelaide city views — unbroken from the foothills all the way to the Gulf. Chef-owner Justin Miles, who trained under Ann Oliver at Mistress Augustine's before stints at London's Bibendum, runs the kitchen on regional and seasonal produce. The city laid out below does most of the work; the cooking holds its own.
