One of Australia's largest coffee plantations, on the Bruce Highway just north of Proserpine, at the turn-off to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays. Around 140,000 Arabica trees grow here on what was a sugar-cane farm, planted after the owners worked out the region sits on roughly the same latitude as Hawaii's coffee country. They grow, roast and pour their own beans in a plantation coffee shop and roastery, run tours of the rows, and have added a licensed kitchen, a gift shop, farm animals and an aviary. Open seven days.
