Tilse’s Apple Truck Cider

The Tilse family has grown apples at the foot of the Barrington Tops since 1916, fed by two streams running through the property. When supermarket chains made their Upper Hunter fruit shops unviable, they ripped out everything but the red delicious and granny smiths and started making cider. Apple Truck now moves through independent bottle shops and bars across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
