Tidbinbilla Nature ReserveVisitor Centre

CANBERRA DISTRICT, NSW

Forty kilometres from central Canberra, Tidbinbilla has been a conservation site since 1936 — gazetted as a reserve and national park in 1971. The valley takes its name from the Ngunnawal word *Jedbinbilla*, meaning the place where boys become men. Rangers lead guided wildlife activities through habitat that supports a broad range of native Australian animals. The cultural and ecological layers here do most of the talking.
