The Local Hotel

Built in 1897 as The Seaview Hotel, the Local is a Victorian-era pub on South Terrace with eight rooms upstairs, each styled by a different South Fremantle friend of the owners — Rosie's Room, The Snug, Desert Sessions, the Elephant Suite. Shared bathrooms, king beds, creaky floorboards. Downstairs there's a public bar, a whisky lounge, and The Local Garage — a converted drive-thru bottle shop now used as event space. Five minutes' walk to South Beach.
