A regional cultural centre run by the Central Coast Council on Ulverstone's main street, gathering a museum, art gallery, planetarium and science centre under one roof, alongside resident groups including Leven Regional Arts and the North West Woodcraft Guild. The museum covers the Central Coast's own history — its current exhibition, Red Soil and Deep Clay, traces what the region's volcanic soils and clay have yielded since the first peoples arrived at least 41,000 years ago. A volunteer-run community history archive handles local and family research enquiries.
