Agnès lost movement in her left hand after brain surgery and taught herself felt-making to recover. Ten years of hand embroidery later, she had rebuilt the neural pathways. Now she runs seasonal three-hour workshops from the Mullumbimby hinterland — wet felt, needle felt, natural fibres — for adults and children alike. The neuroscience is the selling point; the wool is just where it starts.
