Ross's sandstone was quarried in the 1800s, and this cottage is built from it — two-thirds of the stone reclaimed from the original foundations. Off-grid solar, limewash walls, a wood-fired hot tub under open sky. The village around it is cobbled paths and old elms; the cottage holds the same temperature.
