When Queensland's Plane Creek Mill stopped public tours in 2003, a gap opened up. Sarina Sugar Shed filled it with something the working mills couldn't offer: a miniature sugar mill and distillery you can actually walk through. Four guided tours run daily, and the proximity to active cane country makes the whole thing feel less like an exhibit and more like an explanation.
