Restaurant 1889 atThe Brewery

The building went up in 1889 as a colonial post and telegraph office — columns, high ceilings, Gothic-Renaissance stonework still intact. The Bredhauer family took it over in 2020 and run the brewpub and dining room together; Restaurant 1889 sits inside, accessed through the bar. The menu roams wide by design. The room does most of the work.
