Thirty years of winemaking on 330 acres above the Lockyer Valley gave Preston Peak its footing; the functions arm followed in 2004. Owner Rick Osborne runs a kitchen serious enough to place among Australia and New Zealand's top five Shiraz producers — recognition from the Royal Melbourne Wine Show. Weddings are the main event, but the cooking is reason enough to make the drive from Toowoomba.
