A Neapolitan pizzeria on the corner of Bowman and Wiseman streets in Macquarie, in Canberra's north-west, opened in 2014 by Silvio Miceli, who learned to cook from his mother and grandmother in Italy and set out to bring proper wood-fired pizza to the city. The dough is matured in-house and the bases come out of the wood oven thin and crisp, under simple toppings. Pizzas are named for family and friends, and there are Italian beers, wine and gelato, with local Canberra brews on the list.
