Alexander Campbell Johnston named this land Pirramimma — "the moon and the stars" — when he planted it in 1892. Four Johnston generations later, the estate still farms the same McLaren Vale soils, now tended back to organic health after decades of depletion. The cellar door pours the full range, including Solera fortifieds tracing back to the early 1900s and estate Petit Verdot and Tannat grown for the changing climate.
