Rob and Chris make functional serveware from recycled Tasmanian timbers out the back of Campania, in the Coal River Valley, shaping Huon pine, blackwood, blackheart sassafras, celery top pine, myrtle and blue gum into platters, boards, coasters, and hand-carved spoons and stirrers. The species are salvaged specialty timbers rather than new stock. Find them most Saturdays at Salamanca Market in Hobart, Site 158, just outside Watermans.
