Mt QuincanCrater Retreat

Six timber pole treehouses sit on the slopes of Mt Quincan, an extinct volcano an hour from Cairns, on a 150-acre Droughtmaster cattle property. Each cabin is couples-only, with a king bed, double spa, wood fire, and a fridge stocked with breakfast provisions. Tree-climbing kangaroos — four threatened species call the property home — are regularly spotted from the decks.
