Fifteen minutes from Melbourne Airport on 1,200 acres of working farmland, Marnong opened its cellar door in 2018 on land first run by pastoralist William Clarke in 1841. The Sunbury region vineyard — planted from 2016 — grows cool-climate Shiraz alongside newer Italian varieties: Fiano, Montepulciano and Sangiovese. The bluestone homestead dates to the late 1840s.
