A Cypriot and a Californian started clearing bush on the Tamar's west bank in 1979. Four decades on, their family still runs the organic and biodynamic vineyard — now into its third generation. The cellar door, perched mid-slope with river views, pours everything from aromatic field blends to rare-for-Tasmania Syrah, Tempranillo and Cabernet Franc, alongside a self-assembled platter from the on-site delicatessen.
