A provincial botanic garden on the Campaspe River at Kyneton, established in 1858 and since grown into a collection of mature specimen trees, seventeen of them on the National Trust's register. The Victorian-era fabric survives intact: bluestone walls, a wrought-iron gate, an 1902 drinking fountain, a restored gardener's cottage and a rotunda, with a walk following the river through it.
