Kimo Estate Ecohuts

Three off-grid A-frame huts on a sheep and cattle property established in 1832, outside Gundagai. Each hut sits on its own hilltop — JR's on a high peninsula, Fergo's on a cliff above the lagoon, Sweeney's tucked into the hillside. Solar-powered, wood-fired hot tubs, locally sourced timber, no WiFi. The views run for miles in every direction. Gundagai is halfway between Sydney and Melbourne on the Hume, but the huts are the destination — people don't stop here on the way through, they book and stay.
